Data Security
We encrypt data at rest and in transit using AWS S3 and AWS Aurora RDS, and manage encryption keys with various tools, including AWS KMS (Key Management Service). We offer read-only integrations with Amazon S3, Google Cloud Storage, and Azure Blob Storage, and maintain log records of all activities that have occurred on the Platform.
Retention and Replication
We back up all data every day using various methods, including AWS RDS Backup and Restore features. All data is stored for 7 days, and strict data restore tests are conducted in a developer environment every quarter. Additionally, replication servers for all databases are maintained for seamless recovery.
Platform Security
Superb AI regularly engages top security experts to conduct network and application penetration testing of the production environment. We also follow extensive in-house QA and vulnerability testing procedures while maintaining separate environments for development.
Client Security
We employ role-based authentication with 5 roles (owner, admin, manager, labeler, reviewer), each granted unique permissions and restrictions. Additionally, we consistently monitor regulatory compliance and provide a history of data exports for data compliance purposes.
Infrastructure Security
We develop and operate Superb Platform using Amazon Web Services, and are actively leveraging various data and information security services in the AWS ecosystem.

What data is stored on the Platform?
Raw data and label information uploaded onto the platform is stored in AWS S3. Other meta information, like meta-data, label meta-data, and project information, is stored within AWS Aurora RDS. All data can be exported at will, and full export logs are provided for management and compliance purposes.
How is authentication handled in the platform?
Superb Platform conducts authentication according to the industry-standard password policy. It uses AWS Cognito, and ensures that even system administrators or developers cannot access user passwords. For API calls, we provide an SDK/CLI with an access key for API calls. For general id/password login, JWT is used.
Which protocol do you use for data protection?
We use HTTPS for all communications to securely encrypt all protocols. For firewall security, we employ AWS WAF to restrict blacklisted IPs suspected of attempting data breaches or generating heavy bot traffic. Additionally, users are unable to access backend data. They can only access their own data through the SDK and CLI after completing authentication.
Has my data ever been shared with anyone outside or with Superb AI employees?
Your data is never shared externally. All data is 100% owned by the user in accordance with the contract, and the personal or commercial use of data by a third party is prohibited.
Superb AI employees can only access user accounts for purposes such as technical support or project management, and account access permissions are reviewed every quarter. All employees undergo periodic security training and background checks in accordance with local laws as part of our comprehensive security policy.
